Kindness
Kindness costs us nothing.
Being kind goes a long way.
A hug, or smile, or kind words
Can brighten someone’s day.
It doesn’t take much effort,
To show kindness from your heart,
And if you find this hard to do,
Then a smile’s a great start.
Calm After the Storm
Trees were battered.
Leaves were scattered.
Glass was shattered.
But nothing mattered.
Once the storm had left the sky.
Because the sun shone,
The wind was gone,
And I was spurred on
By the energy passing by.
Love Will Reappear
Love is not eluding you,
It’s just not here today,
And whilst love is not in sight,
It’s never far away.
Hold on to love’s memory,
And how it made you feel,
Know inside your broken heart,
That love will come to heal.
